Spin Coating Photochromic
Photochromic lenses use photochromic compounds reacting to UV light for darkening, providing UV protection. They return to a clear state indoors. Compared with mass photochromic, our spin coating technology can greatly reduce the time it takes for you to change color and fade, giving you a better visual experience.

FAQS
How do I order prescription glasses online?
Choose your frame and click Select Lenses. Follow the guided steps to choose your prescription type, enter or upload your prescription, select the lens category, index, tint when available, and coating. Review all details carefully before adding the glasses to your cart.
What prescription information do I need, and how can I submit it?
Please use a current eyeglass prescription. For Single Vision lenses, enter SPH and, when listed, CYL and AXIS for both OD (right eye) and OS (left eye), along with your PD. You can enter the values manually or upload a JPG, PNG, GIF, or TIFF image up to 2 MB. Contact us if your prescription includes values not available in the selector.
Can I use my contact lens prescription to order glasses?
No. Contact lens and eyeglass prescriptions are measured differently and are not interchangeable. Please use a valid eyeglass prescription from your optometrist.
What is PD, and should I enter one number or two?
PD, or pupillary distance, is the distance between the centers of your pupils, measured in millimeters. Choose Single PD if your prescription shows one total number. Choose Dual PD if it lists separate right and left values. If your PD is missing, ask your optometrist rather than guessing.
What prescription types and lens options do you offer?
JamJam Lens currently offers Single Vision, Reading, and Non Prescription lenses. Compatible options may include Clear, Blue Light Blocking, Photochromic, Sunglass, and Gradient Sunglass lenses. The selector automatically displays the options available for your chosen prescription type.
How do I choose the right lens index and coating?
Available lens indices may include 1.61, 1.67, 1.74, and 1.74 Plus. A higher index can generally produce a thinner and lighter lens for stronger prescriptions, but the highest index is not always necessary. Coating choices may include Standard, Blue Light Blocking, and Super Hydrophobic Coating, depending on the selected lens.
Can I order glasses without a prescription?
Yes. Select Non Prescription during lens selection. You can still choose from compatible clear, blue light blocking, photochromic, or sunglass options without entering prescription or PD values.
How do I choose the right frame size?
Compare the product measurements with a pair of glasses that already fits you comfortably. Pay attention to frame width, lens width, lens height, bridge width, and temple length. The three numbers printed inside many frames usually represent lens width, bridge width, and temple length in millimeters.
Where do you ship, and how can I track my order?
We currently ship within the United States, with free-shipping eligibility for the contiguous 48 states shown at checkout. Prescription lenses require processing before shipment. Once your order has been dispatched, tracking information will be provided so you can follow its delivery progress.
Can I change, cancel, return, or exchange my order?
Email support@jamjamlens.com with your order number within 24 hours if you need to make a change or cancellation. Requests may be limited or subject to charges once customization has started. Eligible items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of receipt, once per order and in their original packaging. Customized prescription lenses have additional non-quality return conditions. Rimless frames are covered for verified defects in materials and workmanship, while accidental damage or improper handling is not covered. Please review the Return & Refund Policy and contact us before sending anything back.
